Hello It’s Me (Intro)

 

     Hi, my name is Maria Mahecha and these are some facts about me.

 Some of my favorite things to do are drawing, building lego sets and playing video games. I’m an animation major and I aspire to work for Pixar in the future. My favorite thing about animation is the way in which you can have an idea and recreate it in whatever way you want, and have complete creative control. You can inspire people with animation and recreate real life scenarios, and allow people to feel emotions in whatever way you like. 

Some of the things that I expect to learn from 2D Animation is perfecting motion in my illustrations, space awareness in how things compare to other in whatever space they are in, how different facial expressions work and the way they can change the mood of an animation and animation techniques on how to make everything flow with each other.

I’m extremely excited to start this course as animation has always been something that fascinates me and is my passion, so knowing that I am on my way to pursue one of my dreams is amazing to me.
